There's a chicken in my house! Funny update

My favorite girl out of 25 is also named Lucy! She is the first one in my lap when I sit down and if I just bend over to talk to someone else, She flaps up and sits on your back or your head. She's my favoritest lap chicken.

Sounds like our house with Rootbeer. Yes Spottedcrow I got your email and thank you very much. Not trying to steal your thread Equine chick, but I got the diaper in the mail yesterday and this is how it looks on them. Rootbeer has a little growing room but that is what I was hoping for and got! Worked like a dream though in case you are interested in still getting one. I'm glad you found Lucy and she wasn't hurt. That would have destroyed me I think.

She's been staying in the coop with the girls. When i go out to see her she chirps to me, and flies up to me like i'm one of the girls. The other hens seem much friendlier too, maybe she gave them the loaddown on what went on. I just love to be able to understand their cacklin sessions. I really believe they are happier without the roo. I'm getting more eggs now too. I know she was traumatized by the roo as well. When she was sitting in my kitchen window she saw him walk by the house free ranging and she started screaming and flying right to me. She probally feels she was assulted, no more roo for her.

I'm also relieved that you found your favourite...When Buddy chased Obelisk and she flew out over the fence and I couldn't find her, I was so heartbroken to think that I'd never see the Queen of the house ever again.
