hello 👋 i have panic made this account cause i can't figure out what wrong with my chicken.

so a couple of days ago we noticed that one of our chickens was acting weird. her neck feels completely out of place and it feels hard and i don't think she can move it back into place. but she can still move her head side to side slightly. she was eating and drinking water but today she hasn't as much.and she's been opening her mouth really wide for some reason. in the photos you can see the lump that feels like her neck

also i swear it's not rye neck we've already been giving her vitamin E and have seen no change.

Has she been injured, and somehow her beak is broken? Was her beak stuck open in the last picture? Is there any yellow canker or material inside her beak? How long has she been without drinking. I would try to give her some fluids either electrolytes or water with sugar 1 tsp per 8 ounce cup. Offer mushy chicken feed and water up to her beak if she can eat. Tube feeding might be something to learn if her beak is injured.

i wouldn't say her beak is stuck open she can still open and close it. but her bottom beak looks longer then the top so she can't close it all the way. and we hand fed her water earlier today and she has just enough movement in her neck to eat worms from my hand. and there's no fluid these photos where right after me feeding her dried worms.
