HI, WHERE CAN I FIND THE THERMOMETER THAT EVERYONE KEEPS TALKING ABOUT? I WENT TO WALMART AND DIDN'T FIND ONE. I'M NEW TO THIS AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS. HOW ARE YA'LL MEASURING HUMIDITY? SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND!!! I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS RIGHT.

You should be able to find the thermometer/humidity reader in the Hardware section of your local Wal-Mart. It is located where the outdoor thermometers are.

You might want to check this thread out where I'm testing out some of the Wallyworld/Target thermometer units... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=162480

These units also have a hygrometer included that will measure humidity. The digital (non-medical) units should be tested against a precision thermometer such as a medical thermometer. The hygrometer should also be tested. The information you need is in the thread.

Best wishes,
Ed

PS...Just so you know...using all capital letters in forums and emails is considered yelling. You might want to quieten it down a bit.

No problem on the all-caps, just figured you'd want to know. And best wishes on your incubation! BTW, which incubator are you using?
