Currently, I have three thermometers.

Acu-rite one that I bought paying $7 at wallmart. This one is the round one and not digital.
Second one is the thermometer that came with hova bator.
Third one is also from the hova bator, but I paid extra $10 for it. This is digital and also has hygrometer.

All three have similar temperature.
All three shows around 100 right now (I didn't install the fan yet. I'm probably going to do it on Fri.)
2nd one is kinda higher and digital one is kinda lower.
I checked the acu-rite with the home temp. several times and it showed pretty close temp.

Which one do you think I should believe on most?

Oh, and about the hygrometer.
Before I went to tutor today, I wrapped the hygrometer in the wet paper towel and put it in the ziploc bag. (I did not lock the ziploc bag)
When I came back about 1 hr 30 min later, hygrometer showed 99%
Is this okay?
I read that it should've show 95% immediately after you wrap it, but mine didnt.
It read like 80 and gradually rised.

I want to do the salt check, but I don't know the exact amount of salt (or is there an exact amount of salt you need?)
I read some forums saying that it should be 2 tbsp and 1 tbsp water, and other saying 1/2 cup salt and 1/4 cup water.
And others said that just put some in the bottle cap or small container with little amount of water and put it in the ziploc bag.
Which one is correct?
Also, if the tbsp one is correct, is there an easy way measure in tbsp w/o the tbsp?
I don't have the measurement for tbsp...

Wow... I really need to learn more..

I read some forums but it's just so hard! (but fun

I just wanted to warn you that when you install the fan watch that temp closely, it will spike!
