Thermometer/ hydrometer say different things.

New to incubating, you've probably heard this 100 times before but...
My incubator says 38c and my stand alone thermometer says 37c.
Will this matter in the grand scheme of things? Thank you

Have you calibrated the thermometer? As long as that one is accurate, or you know how off it is it doesn't really matter if the incubator reads slightly different.

It's a little digital thermometer, factory set that can't be changed. Maybe I should by one with a probe

Those can still be calibrated to know how many digits off it is, but both the incubator and the thermometer are in the right hatching parameters so I wouldn't be too worried.
