I keep seeing suggestions to buy this at WalMart for about $7. My family doesn't shop at WalMart, is there anywhere else I could buy one for about this price? We checked a local pet store and found one for a terrarium but it doesn't have a probe and won't fit in my incubator.

The $7 ones at walmart don't have a probe either. You can go online, and find some, or your feed store might carry them, as well as lowe's or home depot, possibly. Tractor supply should carry them as well.
