thermostat question...easy to set?

how touchy is yours?
We were trying to balance our homemade without, but are now trying to get it to set up with the new thermostat. I was wondering how touchy they are.....I am trying to get it to do within a 1-1.5 degree temp range...will this be possible?

Do you have a water wiggler?

It is very hard to get small fluctuation in air temp. By using the water wiggler you can get a ready closer to what the egg temp is and there will also be alot less fluctuation

I have a probe in a probe. WAter bottle since I haven't put the eggs in yet. I just seem to be having a hard time setting the thermostat to turning off at one temp and back on at another.
One problem was I had the metal side of the thermostat up and it was being shined on by the light so heating up fast than the air around it.
