I was doing some yard work today and found two of my girls enjoying the sunny afternoon...

When I see that look my my girls faces, it makes it worth every moment of slogging through the rain and snow, to feed them, make sure they have fresh water, and that they are warm enough out in their coop all winter long! Just to get them through another winter so that they can have moments like this!

If a chicken could sigh with contentment, those two surely did!
