The chicks are now almost 3 months old. Finally got them trained to run free during the day and go to the coop at night. They follow me like I'm the mother hen. But they still rely on the crumbles. They wont go scratch around and find new things to eat. I have ahuge compost pile full of bugs and worms but they use it to lay in instead of digging out the goodies. When ill they learn there is more than crumbles they can eat?
