They are hatching!!! With Pics!!

I have 12 eggs in the incubator. So far, 6 of them have hatched!!!

4 this morning, 2 this afternoon, and 4 more are piping!! (even some of the ones that I put under my broody Golden Laced Wyandotte!!)

I know very little about quail, and I thought they were all the same color (shows how much I know), but I have 2 different colors.

Do the colors have names?

Just wanted to share!! Looking forward to watching them grow!!

The solid yellow is an A & M. in the quail sticky there's pics of chicks and adults with the color names.

Adorable! The dark one looks like a brown or Pharoah. Correct me if I'm wrong, quail gurus!

Yep A & M (for the yellow may or may not have spots on back)
and a Brown, the brown looks like a jumbo brown, but pictures can be decieving (only diff from a jumbo brown and a pharoah is size

I want to hatch quail sooo badly. They look so cute and adorable when they're small. Lol They are all so very funny when they get older.
