oh and the Cochin who I assume will be a boy.

Time will tell on my black Stars, I hope they perk up. I they are just so much smaller and less sturdy than than the rest of the group.

But after reading all the posts of Chicks DOA, I almost changed my order date. I was pretty sure the weather at my end would not be a problem but it was nerve wracking.
I can't tell how how THRILLED I was that they were ALL alive when I opened the box!

PS = almost 6pm - looks like I'm also going to loose the smallest BLRW I had seen her? sleeping more but she had seemed "okay", but after I got up from a nap she was flat out and not doing well.

not rare, but it looks like a dark brahma chick to me. but then, everything looks like a brahma to me!

Well it says on my sheet that they sent an extra blue laced red - I thought I had counted right but honestly I'm so sick today I didn't recount LOL
but I CAN count in a picture so you are right there ARE 28 and you are right on the extra. (sigh) LOL

it is now about 4:15 so I have had them home almost 12 hours. While I lost one of the Black Star's the other one along with everyone else seem to be doing very well and very grateful for that!
