We resisted the urge to help. This morning 4 of the 6 that pipped hatched. they are so adorable. What to do with the others? The 4 are all over the bator rolling the other eggs everywhere.
 
Congrats on your babies. Depending on the day you are on for hatching I would wait til your sure they won't hatch. Some have said they can hatch days later than expected.
 
Most tell you to wait......I waited until mine were dry. 5-12 hours then grabbed them out. I had some hatching for almost 3 days but they had been really stressed.
 
Lifting the lid can drop your humidity way down so it is better to wait.
I did not feel too bad about waiting after half my shipped chicks survived 5 days with no food or water.
So hours sure will not hurt them any and will give the others a bit more time to hatch.
