They are home! My first chicks. Pics

Ok we went and got our chicks today. This first picture is of the Easter colored ones. We have them in a seperate brooder since they are older then the others.

This is a pic of the other chicks. There are some that are a little bit older but they have been housed together for?? I don't know how long but I am going to keep an eye on them and move the older ones if need be.

One does have pasty butt so I need to pick up some yogurt but otherwise we are good to go!!

Thanks! And I wonder too. I *think* they are Leghorns...but we shall see. She said the dye was organic but it sure is still bright...I dunno.

I'm sure they have to dye them with something safe, still..........it seems strange. Have to admit, I like their colors!
