The other night my girls tried to sleep outside ontop of a chair. I put a nesting box in their for them to try and give them the clue to start giving me some freaking eggs. I dont know if it freaked them out and dont want to go back in at night but i dint feel like shoving them back in there every night. Do i just lock them in there earlier or for a couple of days?

Yep, just lock em in and get them used to the change. Chickens hate change, actually all birds I know hate change. LOL

So you'll have to show them that the nest box won't eat them, and they should go back to their usual selves.
