they dont want treats!?!

My 3 BR chicks are 5+ weeks and dont seem interested in treats. Have offered bananas strawberries lettuce and yogurt. They liked yogurt off my finger ( ouchy!) But wouldnt eat it aline. Is this odd?

They are just afraid of something new. For the yogurt, you might try mixing it with a bit of scrambled egg or chick feed. Maybe cut up the strawberries rather finely at first. It always takes mine some time to decide something new isn't going to eat them -- treats, a bale of pine shavings, a new feeder, whatever.
