they hatched!!! i did it right!!! (PIC HEAVY)

well i must have done something right, because they hatched right on day 21!!! i am sooo happy! this morning we had 5 little guys out of 6 eggs, hopefully i have #6 when i get home from work.

here we are zipping (he pipped about 8am, and didnt do anything until 8pm, but it only took him like 15 minutes to zip and pop out. once he wanted out, he was coming.)

and alo just had to watch. she knows they are off limits, but she likes to watch.

just mutts. the hens were BO and GLW, and the rooster was a mutt we had "visit". he was beetle green/ black with gold flecks in his hackles. he must have some dominate genes though, every single chick is identical.
