Edit: I already know how bad bread is. Don't need to keep telling me :)
Despite the fact that I've told my family that I will be giving the flock the scraps myself, they keep tossing old bread out. We still haven't finished the ducks' separate yard so they're still housed with the chickens. I'm not sure when it'll be finished as we keep getting rain and I've nearly injured myself in the mud a few times.
Right now, they free range during the day so they're not all in their coop or yard all the time. I normally lead the ducks away to a different spot with their peas while I leave the chickens to eat up any bread scraps so that the ducks can't eat them. That's why I'm really angry that someone keeps tossing bread out to the whole flock.

The ducks haven't shown anything yet.

Will the ducks be fine?
When will it be too much for them??
What signs should I keep an eye out for??

Bread causes calcium deficiencies in ducks, as well as contributes to angel wing. So if you have any females it will really impact their health. It's really bad for them, even in the short term. No bread. You'll have to put your foot down, so to speak, in this case.

Nobody, not even my parents, even care what I want for the birds. No one takes me seriously when I tell them how bad it is for them. I'm sort of the outcast in my family

Ah, that's ashame. I'm sorry you have to deal with this. The only thing I can suggest is possibly doing some research and then showing them. Unfortunately some people are stuck in a certain 'way' to raise animals and never really want to hear anything new care wise.

My dad grew up on a farm that had chickens, goats, and geese so I'm surprised he won't tell everyone else not to do this.
It'll be better one the ducks are moved to their own yard so that I won't have to worry about it.
