They Squatted today let the waiting Game begin!!!

We added 3 new chicks to our flock back in May. They hatched on April 25th. We got 2 Wellies and an EE. The 2 Wellies squatted today for the first time.

I know it could still be a few weeks cause they are only 17weeks 4days old but the SQUATTED !!

So how much longer should I expect to have to wait for my EE?

They will be 19 weeks tomorrow! They keep going in the coop and watching my hens while they are laying in the nests but I have yet to see one of my Wellies in the nest box.

My EE's started laying around 22 weeks, but I've heard of them waiting until 26-30 weeks sometimes! I love finding that first egg, it's so exciting!

This could be such a long wait. Do EE squat too? If so she wasn't yet.
