They started laying early I was not ready. Will laying out of a nest be a problem?

I have 2 17 week tetra tint that have begun to lay. They are 17 weeks. I dont know how time just slipped by me but I never got the nest boxes put in. My husband has been really working 75-80 hours a week and well you know when that happens nothing gets done.

Well anyways The hens have found a really nice spot to lay right under the food and water. I have them hanging in the coop. What I am wonder is. Is this a problem? Can they continue to lay there. Its real covinant as right when I open the door there the eggs are. They dont seem to mind and since the food and water are right above there is not much poop.
I have deep bedding in there and they just make a little nest and have at it.

Now if you guys say no way get them chicks some boxes NOW! lol Do you think I will have a problem getting them to lay in it? I know all chicks are different but do they sort of have like the first place they lay an egg is where the home nest is?

Here is a pic of my tetra tint Delaney in her nest
(it was really dark so I had to brighten it up so you can see sorry about the quality)

It is best to have nesting boxes from the start so they learn to lay in them. If they make a nest on the floor eventually some of the eggs will get kicked out and get dirty. Any heavy box that they cannot turn over will work. One time I used a big plastic dishpan with a brick in it to keep it steady and lots of litter.
