OMG!! They won’t stop knocking over their waterer!! I attached a picture of the one I have. I believe my older chicks , 4 weeks old are jumping on top of it and it gets knocked down when then jump off, I also have 2 weeks old chicks in there. I have a 5 gallon water bucket with the nipples on it. My younger chicks aren’t getting it yet, where my older
Ones are, or I would eliminate the small water all together. Any suggestions on what to do for the next couple weeks until my little bunch has figured out the nipples? Helppppp I just changed the wet bedding and they dumped it again!!

Could try something like this with a jug they might still knock it over but you could try tying it in a similar way to a nail or something? or hanging it all together

I'd look for a wider waterer with a more squat, rounded top. I had one similar to that and it was very top heavy. That flat top gives them another "roosting" point. Your bigger chicks are certainly knocking it over.

These are ones I'm currently using and while my chicks are almost 3 weeks they are very active and flying all over the brooder. They have not knocked these over yet.

It looks as though you have a 2x4 over the top of the brooder. something like this might help: https://a.co/d/dR5Rdyk

Bookmarked that one myself, lol.

I like them because they have the extendable legs too. I've had to raise the waterer to the fullest height because they throw shavings into it and I have to change it out 1-2 times a day! At the full height it's staying relatively clean.
That why the mega block are in there, because I usually have them up on blocks to keep them from catching shavings!

There are several ways to remedy this, easiest quick fix is to put rock inside to add weight to the base.
