They won't stop pooping in their food.

I have some 2ish week old chicks and they keep standing on top of their feeder(a round one with the separate holes). so everyday I have to take it apart and clean a ton of poop off the top and inside. Any way to stop this? I can't wait for a few more weeks to go by and our FL weather to warm up so they can get out of the brooder. lol. They make such a mess!

I put a small piece of plywood over the top. They just love to perch up there!
Even on top of the water.

They do have their own perch that they sleep on but sometimes they just can't be bothered with it.
