they're here!! finaly

our ducklings arrived today! (we've been soo patient)
6 welsh harlequins
5 mini appleyards

they are so cute! will post a pic as soon as i figure out how.
hubby dosen't understand why so many, he only wanted 2, i wanted 4 (2 big 2 little) so we have 11 (maybe he dosen't believe me when i say i'll find homes for the extras??)

our first forray into ducks, this could prove interesting.

Oh they are very cute! Why do I keep ordering dark ducklings when I lust after the yellow ones! LOL...next year I'm getting all yellow ducklings!

Oh you don't need ducks every year

- but this year was my first so I ordered a bunch of different colored runners - I will probably make up my mind when they're grown as to which colors I like best and keep those and sell the rest.

We will almost certainly have a 4h project next year - plus I'll probably sell some to the 4H kids.
