Six new peeping chicks arrived this morning from Meyer Hatchery. They are so lively and cute! I can't wait for my sons to get home from school.

I have waterers like that...I bought the base at a feed store and you supply the mason jar.

We are having lots of fun with them.

And yes, the waterer is just a screw-on galvanized one I got at Southern States, with a mason jar on top. The blue thing is a plastic shoe box lid I put down to catch drips.

I love the Golden just watching over them. How sweet! I don't think my dogs would be so good. I know they would not! We had a Golden named Buddy (such an unusual

name for a Golden) that would have probably been that way. He's been gone 2 years now but made to nearly 15 years old!
