They're outside!! *Pics included!*

We moved the ducks outside two days ago and they are LOVING it! It was pretty funny at first. They kept walking the gate, wondering when we were taking them back in.

But now, they seem to have adjusted. We also opened the door to chicken run during the day so the chicks can run around in the big pen. They are pretty happy! The ducks don't seem to enthused about the pond yet. Guess it's too big out there for them still. lol I did manage to lure them out there for a short period, but they got freaked out, and ran for cover!

I guess they will eventually figure out how to get into the pond. lol But, they do love being outside.

My ducks are always nervous when we let them out of their pen, it takes them a bit to get used to the idea of more room to wander. We don't like them out and about when we aren't home but once they are used to freedom it is hard to get them back in

I can understand that! We have ours set up to where we have a pretty good size area fenced in for the goats, chickens and ducks. Then inside that pen, we have the ducks and birds a chicken run built that is attached to their hen house. We just got lucky to have enough room to do that.
