That's where the confusion comes in. The red breasted birds are very confusing. Garrie Landry thought he "invented" the Red breasted when it was actually in the wild with the blue breasted. They look like blue breasteds but with the Red breast. THe blue breasteds have a blue breast and red under the belly (where the vent is). The Black Face Red Breasted was found breeding blue faces together. It is mistaken as Darth Vader and Red Breasted. It is red breasted just not truely the name. It probably will be later on Blue Face Red breasted later in the years.

I do have pictures of adults. not chicks yet. That page is under construction

Love the pics
I am still amazed how small they are,
my chucks are for eggs and as pets they wont ever end up on my table, i'm now curious are button quail pets or food. I know quails eggs are but with the buttons i would think they would be too small.
I'm still trying to work out how i could have some without upsetting the landlord
.
And pets they would be im such a wimp my mum says the only reason im not vegitarian is because im not keen on veg
lol.

Their eggs are about the size of a .... I dunno what but they're tiny! lol They're mostly for pets.
