Being new to Quail, I have been poking through the internet in search of all the information I can get about Coturnix.
I've learned a lot in the last few weeks, but I recently found a few pages that have very conflicting information about the thickness of quail eggs.
Example 1: http://www.cityfarmer.org/quail2.html The last paragraph before the list of suppliers, the writer suggests that quail eggs are so tough you need a steak knife to open them.
Example 2: http://www.thatquailplace.com/quail/coturnix/coturn2.htm In the first paragraph, the writer suggests that extra care needs to be taken with the eggs because they break more easily than chicken eggs.
Which is true?
Thanks,
-Zay
