I have a 3 yr old barred rock hen that has been laying thin egg shells. I constantly give them all dried meal worms and oyster shells. She eats a lot of worms and I believe she eats the oyster shells that is in her food container. Any suggestions?

use the meal worms as a treat only, make them eat their layer feed, I sift my oyster shell since I have quail too, try that and mix it in their feed. I also give the shells from the eggs we use back to them, crunched up a bit. If you have to many eggs, boil them and chop them up, feed them back to them, protien and calcium.
