Some of my eggs have very thin shells and sometimes are broken in the nest or break when I wash them. I feed laying pellets and occasionally, bread or table scraps, which they love. I also give them oyster shell. Is there something else I should do?

you could try giving polyvisol enfamil (three drops in beak once a day for a week) ... this is childrens liquid vit A-B-D supplement and D3 deficiency is often associated with thin eggshells .
(calcium absorption is not dependent solely on the amount of calcium they consume but is dependent on the correct ratio of calcium to phosphorus ratios and vit D)
