thin shells

my quail egg shells sare so thin its hard to crack them with out getting egg shell in the egg the membrain inside is tougher then the egg shell. can i give them crushed oryster shells will this help. also my grand son loves fried quail eggs he can eat the whole thing at once lol.

I give my chickens milk replacer that was left over from the goat kids this year. It works very well. You don't want to do this if you are trying to get hatching eggs though. The egg shells will be too thick!

oyster shells work wonders... and for the time being try cutting the shell off witha knife I read about it online looks like it works relaly well!
