Since I have talked my husband into building me a coop and keeping chickens, there are several things I have found myself saying that I never, in my past life, (the one where I would have never thought about keeping chickens,) would come from my mouth...

I mentioned to my husband that I might want to try having a rooster in the future, to see if we could hatch some of our own. He said, "I don't really ever see a need for that. do you?"

This is a pretty old post, but I just gotta add. I mean, if, a year ago I would have heard the words "I HAVE to remember to get mealworms tomorrow" come out of my mouth, I would have probably started looking for help.
