I have a banty rooster in with some buff orpingtons and rirs. He has another banty hen with him but he seems to like the big girls. Do you think he is mating them?

your goining to have to collect your hens eggs and open them and look for the bulls eye on the yoke

Oh yes. I have three banty roos in with some very large Orpingtons! I would bet money that the orps eggs are fertile, but to be sure crack one open and look for the bullseye.

Knowing banty cocks, they very well probably are fertile, but I wouldn't want to set the eggs unless you're trying to downsize your Orpingtons.

I checked them and they are not fertile so I gues I will have to buy a buff orpington rooster. I was looking to hatch a few eggs and see what I got but oh well. I just picked up a few banty hens so I guess I'll let him breed them. Thanks for the help.

I have a bantie roo and six amaracunas, all my eggs are fertile

My banty roo likes all the full sized hens and if he has his way they would all be fertile, but that's the last thing I want.

just try to hatch the eggs with your incubater and about a couple of week, use a small flasklight to see if anything is happenning in the egg. (the egg is place on top of the flasklight). This will tell you if its good or not.
