I have turkey eggs too set them 3/26 red burbons then a week later set some black copper marans to hatch with them checking them tonite to see how many are good

I have thirty five Midget White eggs and two dozen chicken eggs scheduled to hatch on or about the twentieth of this month.

I'm going to be setting some turkey eggs for a friend sometime in the next few weeks. Sounds like temperature/humidity are about the same as incubating a chicken egg, and they take as long as my duck eggs. Anything else specific to turkeys that I should know?

Annarie, that's bout all there is to turkey eggs. They are really
Pretty simple, just take a week longer than chickens, but everything
Else is the same.

I need to go ahead and set some myself. I am getting 2 turkey eggs
A day but have been swapping with anoither local breeder for some
Other chicken breeds I don't have but been wanting to get. I have been
Swapping bourban red eggs for week old chicks.

All four that made it to lock down hatched!

Each on a different day. Though I had to help one out...I thought it wasn't going to make it. It laid on its side for a day and a half in the incubator. I told myself if it wasn't up by the time I got home from work I would have to cull it. I was shocked to see it on its feet when I got home. It's got crud all stuck to it and it's half the size of its hatch mates that hatched 3 days ago but it's running all around in the brooder box. It was really cute when I put it in. The other three rushed up to it and cuddled it like they new it needed a little extra TLC. I thought I was going to have to separate it. I'm so glad it all worked out.

I've got 7 eggs under a broody hen that are due in a week or so, and 23 in the incubator due May 6th. This is my fourth try, haven't been successful yet in getting live poults. Hopefully this time! Mine are Royal Palms and Royal Palm/Rio Grande crosses. This is my first turkey experience, a friend of mine is having me hatch her eggs for her, and will let me keep the poults i want in exchange.
