Thinking about adding guinea hens to my flock?

So, I was debating if I should get guinea fowl or not? What’s everybody thoughts? Could they be raised with chickens? Will my rooster try to mate with her? Should I get her own pen with her own flock? What feed to give?

Guineas are flock birds and do best in large groups of their own kind. I never recommend that anyone get fewer than 10 guineas. They have entirely different behaviors than any other kind of poultry. They can cause extreme stress to other kinds of poultry that are not capable of understanding guinea behavior.
