Thinking about getting some guineas!

But are concerned about noise levels... if we got one or two or three, how bad would the noise be? Like, hen noise? Or constant rooster noise?

Thanks! I want them SOOO bad, but noise is the only thing holding me back!

If you are worried about noise... I would not get any

The noise isn't constant. They usually only go off a couple times a day but are especially loud in the evening. I would try to visit some first if noise was a problem. I don't mind their noise at all and none of my neighbors mind it either (I've asked).

My mom lives out in the country, and I'm trying to talk her into getting some guineas. She is hard of hearing, so for her the noise wouldn't be a problem. Her neighbors let their dog run literally all day, so I told her who cares what the neighbors think. Plus it's an agricultural area. However, I am concerned with the dog getting a free supper out of the deal.

Guineas sound like squeaky door hinges to me.

My mom was in the hospital a few years ago with Lyme Disease, and every time she goes outside she ends up with a tick on her. Soooo, I told her to get guineas for "organic tick control". Hey, at least she's thinking about it!
