Thinking About Raising gameBirds

I wanna Start Raising BobWhites Quail And Phesants and Maybe Some Turkeys. Would Their coops and cages Be made Like chickens. And How hard Are they To Raise.

You can raise bobwhites and pheasants on the ground, although sometimes the quail do better in raised pens. You will need to make sure the pens are covered, as they do fly. Also, they need lots of space to prevent them from picking. Lots of space also if you want the flighty. They are fun birds and are beautiful. They also make some very pretty sounds. I loved raising them and may get back into raising some. Just make sure you check with your state regs. as to whether you need a state gamebird license first and which birds are legal to have in your state.
