"thinking" of raising broiler chickens

Hi.. I have been thinking of raising broiler chickens for our family but need a bit of info..Can anyone direct me to a site that gives information on how much feed 1 broiler chicken eats from hatch until time to process? Id like to raise enough for my family of 6 and have some extra to sell to others to offset the cost... I know of plenty of people that would buy the extras, but dont want to over charge them....

Any info on raising them would be helpful also.....Type of feed, containment, etc..
