This dang chicken!

From other posts I’ve seen, I’ve just about resigned myself to the fact that this “rooster “is actually a hen. (I’ll still call her Buddy forever, though.) She is a Black Sex-Link, and right at 4 months old, and although her comb and wattles are VERY red, it looks to me like her saddle feathers are rounded. She also hasn’t developed any of the barred characteristics.

Can someone give me a final verdict?

Yep, that’s what I figured. It was the comb and wattles that fooled me. So big and red…way ahead of all the others!
