I bought 4 Barred Rock chicks from Tractor Supply, but as they grow up, they don't look like Barred Rock.
Can you all experts please help to ID them? My guess is Black Australorp. Thank you!

IF THE BOTTOM OF THEIR FEET ARE YELLOW, YOU MAY HAVE jERSEY gIANTS! i THOUGHT MY MYSTERY CHICKS MIGHT BE aUSTRALORP TOO, BUT DEF jg. sO SWEET. oops sorry for caps~!
Thats a good guess. Both astralorps and jg can have yellow feet. Though the markings could definitely be jersey giant. Ive had so many breeds alot look almost identical as chicks!

They're Australorps.

For the record, out of the two ONLY Jersey Giant have yellow underfeet.

JG have yellow skin.
Australorps have white skin.

Bottom of the feet show the true skin colour (shank colour is not always the same colour as the skin), so only Australorps should have white underfeet.

I say they are Australorps because they are combing in exactly like Aussies. Check the foot bottoms to be sure.

Ah the under feet lol. There is always a tell! A comb shape or earlobe color. I love learning about chicken breeds and what makes them all different.

I love it too. But there's so much to learn. :caf I can't keep up with it.

Then there's Black Marans too... white skin. Often they have feathered feet, but not always. :th

Idk which I like best; Aussie or JG.
JG are nice and plump. I do like Aussies though. They're quite easy to sex early on.
