We've been raising a pair of golden sebrights, Bonnie and Clyde, in the house since the beginning of last winter, well, the weather broke and we built them a brand new coop. As soon as we do this, Clyde becomes afflicted and can't walk but the weather's been too nice so we put Bonnie in coop and kept Clyde in house in sling...
Our back door looks out over all the coops and between me and my wife, one of us is usually standing there looking, checking and such..Well, at some point I look outside and I don't see Bonnie, not totally unusual as she's tiny so ya never know, so I open door to go out and check her coop and as soon as I open door, there she is, waiting to come in...
I close the door as we have 4 dogs in house that would tear her up till i could throw them out into their run then I went back to front door...There she was, being as cute as can be and just walked in, softly chirping as she does, jumped up on my hip and climbed and flapped her way up to my shoulder where she sat until I walked her back and put her back with Clyde....All I could hear was Bonnie in my head saying in regard to separating her from her man, "if you ever try that again......"
