Is stressfull.. I am a newbie fair person. I am planning on showing 8 chickens, 3 bobwhites, 1 coturnix and 3 goats. all in open classes.... I am learning that the fair can be somewhat stressfull... I aquired some chickens from my farming partner who cant show the chickens herself so I have 3 additional chickens that need to be prepped.... I got one of hers prepped and need to get the other two done before 4 pm tomorrow........ I am just tired. and didnt realize how stressful it would be...

anyway thanks for letting me vent....LOVE you all!!!

Good Luck!!! Showing anything can be stressfull. I used to do the Delta, Fairbanks and Palmer fair every year with my 4-H critters then rodeoing on top of that. I understand your pot is over flowing. All I can say is breath and remember you enjoy your birds. This will be a very big learning experiance for both you and your birds. You can always do things different next year if its does not work out. My whole family is heading down your way thursday and planing on catching the fair as well. So Good Luck and remember breath!

When all the stress of getting them prepared is done and you are showing them at the fair, you will realise how enjoyable it is... so breathe, calm down and use this first fair as a learning curve....

I have always loved showing birds, intended to this year but things got in the way.. so am hopeful for you, now get in there and win win win................ no stress there then!... don't forget the pics!
