Hi,

I got chicken-itis this summer after I decided to get some kind of pet for my kids to divert them from screen time. My daughter who is now in kindergarten spent her preschool years on a working farm which had a children's curriculum and chickens were always her favorite animal to feed and hang out with. We got 6 pullets (I hope!) and setting them up has been a lot of work but kids are enjoying them and learning how to be more responsible. This website has come up many times when I've needed questions answered about baby chicks so I figured I'd join! Thanks for having me1
