I'm not familiar with the buff Orpington breed but I'm pretty sure this is a Roo? Any thoughts? Most of my hens seem to redden up early but she seems to have gotten red comb and wattles super fast. Pearl is around 16 weeks old and sweet as can be but I'm wondering if she's a he...

Darn, that is what I thought but didn't want to believe. We aren't allowed to have a rooster where I live so I may have to find a new home for him.

Yep, you were right! I went outside and caught "Pearl" getting friendly with my girls. Still hasn't crowed yet though.
