That too! I was gonna pour more feed in there and was like wait a jiffy sec. it’s a beautiful egg and it’s someone new, diff from my other eggs. I’m guessing she wanted to come in with a big statement.

I am not sure which one it is. But I have 3 buff Orpingtons 3 amberlinks and 3 black ones that I am still not sure on breed. Possible pullets. Possibly autralorps. I love them all. They’re so fun to watch

I came and asked who laid the egg in the food. She jumped up so im assuming she’s taking responsibility

My bantams do that too! Cookie loves to lay in random places like feeders, food bags, and hidden places on the ground. She also has a habit of escaping and going through to my polish section of the house and laying in their nest box! She needs rescued all the time!

Haha that’s so funny. I am also finding in weird spots. Makes the hunt even better she’s so cute! How old is she?

Thank you! She’s about 1.5-2 years old. We got her and three other bantams from some guy who was getting rid of his whole flock. He sold them as 1-1.5 years old and that was about 6 months ago so...

But mine is small so she can actually fit in the feeder. Yours must’ve been a bit squished!!
