This is an odd one

Ok I’m down to 11 ducks Pekin,mallard,Muscovy, and mix mallard/pekin
So here is were the head scratcher comes I do a lot of target shooting at home if there in the creek sometimes a good 1/8 mile away when they here me shooting they all come home and sit in front and in back of my pistol target while I’m shooting they actually tuck there heads in and go to sleep,they seem to enjoy the sound of the guns.Mind you these are the same ducks that if you move a water or food bowl 1/2 inch they get freaked out.Anyone else experienced this?

My guess would be they are frightened and return to what they think is safety. The sitting with the head tuck is them hiding, and hunkering down.

It's obvious, they know that's the safest place to be when you're shooting. TOO EASY
