Howdy . Baby chicks are so incredibly sweet. I'm convinced their peeping, chirping melodies are medicinal.

In a few short weeks you will start to notice differences between the boy and the girls on many, not all breeds. A little later for some breeds. Boys will have a longer, redder comb and wattles. Some have beautiful, thick legs that are noticeably different from the girls' legs. They will take a stance that says "don't mess with me" which is very cute at this age. The boys generally are more daring and play fight more but much of this depends on the breed.
