this is the floor. Is that wire too large for the feet of standard to large sized chickens?

this is the inside. There is another set of nesting boxes on the other side of the coop as well. 2 perches that extend 6ft and in the top corner one of the vents, its currently closed. There is a second one on the other corner.

the front of it. There is about 1.5 more feet to the bottom.

sorry, don't know how to rotate it. This is the back with the 2 vents.

we're planning on raising it and building a poop tray that is able to be pulled out if we keep the wire.
the nesting boxes will have pine bedding in it once they start laying. I'm covering them with plastic so they don't try to sleep in there.

I want to paint to nesting boxes with some leftover brown exterior paint and paint the rest of it white. Is there a type of paint that is recommended? I was also thinking of adding a few coats of water proofing before painting it as well. Has anyone else done this?

I wouldn't keep my chickens on a wire floor, but I know others have, maybe they can help you. Wire floors do have more risks than solid floors and I hear they're not that good at letting the poo pass through.

For painting, use exterior gloss paint and do at least two layers. The more the better and the easier to clean up later.

The vents don't look very big. You might want to add some. The window is great, though; nice and big. They'll get plenty of daylight :)

I've got to ask about the nestboxes... I can't see anyway for the chicken to get into them. How high off the ground are they?

I would also be worried about the wire floor, not only because of possible injury to your chicken's feet, but also I would think that it would be way too cold on their feet (and allow too many drafts into the coop) during the Northern Colorado winter. I know that chickens can handle cold pretty well, but frost bite is a problem.

Otherwise, it looks like a nice set up.

the nestboxes are about 1.5 ft off the wire and the first roost is a little lower i think. I'd have to find a tape measure for the exact distance.

I am not sure on the paint I don't paint the inside of my coops but I would use hardware cloth on the floor. Cool coop by the way.

hardware cloth for the safety of it or for the size ?

the wire floor is right under the prop door and the wood extended another 2 - 2.5 ft to the ground. I'm not worried about animal issues regarding the wire....

To limit the amount of space between the wires squares for the safety of the birds standing on it this way they do not fall through and cause leg injury but you will need to find a way to block out drafts during colder months. I wire the bottom of all our coops but then place a hard floor over that and we use a small spade to do clean out takes all of 5 minutes per coop.

i decided to throw some plywood over the wire and i'm going to make a small divider between the front of the coop and the roosts. That way i can have the poop board in the back like i was planning and i'll throw some shavings in the front. I'm sure they'll get mixed eventually but if it doesn't work out its easy enough to take out the divider and keep shavings on the whole floor.

I also now have a 4x6 space underneath with about 2.5 ft of height. I can put hinges on the board in front and use that space for storage if needed or wanted.
