Hello good forum,
Here looking for advice.
Uno is a cuckoo Marans chick. She is so named because she is the only one to hatch. She has curled toes and splay leg.
Fortunately, she's making a turn around, because I used an internet trick to help her toes uncurl and also her splay leg.
She's now able to stand up on her own, which is a huge improvement. Her curled toes look straight now.
Uno lives in the house and is eating and drinking. I also gave her some poultry cell.
All in all, she's doing so much better. I hope she's eventually able to walk.
She's extremely fiesty and is the loudest chick I've ever had.
What advice do you all have about caring for curled toes and splay leg in very young chicks?
She's two days old.
