She didnt have any black ameraucanas. She had silver, brown and gold. She did have black sumatras... she thought they were phoenixs.... I can tell they were not! xD She is a sweet lady honestly.

If the seller has "silver, brown and gold Ameraucanas", then they're actually Easter eggers and so is the chick. Easter eggers are a genetic crapshoot as to color, so you get surprises like this.

Me, too, Shelby!! I love roos. I have to admit I was 'secretly' hoping that out of the 4 Black Australorp chicks I got (sexed), that one of them would be a roo....but nope! Looks like they are all gonna be hens. Anyone in Central Oregon want to get rid of a BA roo...let me know!
