Of course my favorite hen. Symptoms: skinny, getting worse. Yellow tinged solid poop, looks normal otherwise. Gone for 4 days and this morning her back has scabs, missing feathers, dried blood at base of upper tail feathers. Comb is grayish. Normal: glossy feathering, eats real well, still boss hen with attitude, very active. Eyes are bright, no respiratory issues. What I've treated: All were wormed with Elector PSP even though they are not free ranging, large covered run, big coop. Only 5 hens. Followed up worming. 4 months later (last month) gave her alone Ivermectin. All I can come up with is cancer even though I cannot find any lumps. Any ideas?

Elector PSP is for external parasites. Some parasites are becoming resistant to ivermectin. Did you worm for a particular parasite suspected or confirmed with a fecal test, or just to cover the bases? How old is she, and do you know when she last laid?
If you suspect internal parasites then I would use either Safeguard liquid goat wormer or horse paste at a dose of .23 ml per pound of bird weight for 5 days in a row, directly orally, or Valbazen at a dose of .5 ml, two doses 10 days apart, again directly orally. Those will take care of most internal parasites except some tapeworms.

I'll try the Safeguard, have it on hand. I forgot to add that I did dose them twice with Valbezan last October.
