This sound!!??? What’s going on?

So- I have a flock of four that are all the same age and one started making these crazy noises about a week ago. Two days ago she laid her first egg and I have heard her also singing the egg song which was more of a bock-bock- bgawk!!! This one is different. Otherwise she’s acting totally fine and sweet. Anybody have any experience with this? Here's a video. Sometimes she goes on for a bit longer and louder if you can believe it.

Sounds relatively normal to me. I think she’s just being mouthy for the sake of it. Especially if she’s acting fine otherwise. She’s lovely!

This is more of a grumbling and not angry, not sick, just... grumpy.

My 16 week Barred Rock does the same thing. I call her my worrier! I thought she was just a talker, lol.

My Easter Egger does that all morning, pacing back and forth before she lays an egg, then she's quiet and happy. She's only been laying for about two weeks. To me she just sounds very grumpy and inconvenienced by the whole egg thing!

For sure.

One of my hens does this sometimes, and one of my pullets was doing it before I let them out. I think that they do that when they're nagging for attention.
She's a beautiful hen!
